Note: ACCFS does not provide crisis intervention services. If you have a life-threatening emergency that needs immediate attention, call 911 or go to your local emergency room.
For many people, deciding to go to counseling is a big step. People come to counseling for many reasons. Sometimes it’s due to a current stressful situation that has come up in their lives while, other times, problems have been chronic and long-standing. Some people come to counseling out of desperation or a “last ditch” effort, while others work with a counselor to prevent problems or to enrich an already good relationship.

After Business Hours
Callers wanting to speak with a counselor should call during normal business hours to schedule a time for either an in-office appointment, remote counseling, or a telephone consultation. After normal business hours, callers can leave voicemail messages for ACCFS staff. Under most circumstances, those messages will be returned the next business day.
