- This 2 hour, in-person session looks at the most common reasons people seek help and the most common barriers they have to seeking help.
- We discuss the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual model for human beings and how it influences an individual’s level of functioning.
- We discuss the differences between mental health, mental health issues, and mental disorders.
- We build understanding around the Stages of Change Model and how it helps to know how to intervene in a struggling person’s life.
- We consider the role of ministers in reaching out to a struggling person.
