Alexa received her associate degree in psychology from Parkland College in Champaign, IL in 2016. She then spent a year and a half working as a job coach for people with disabilities at Marcfirst in Normal, IL. Alexa went on to graduate from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in May of 2020. During her time at ISU and beyond, she volunteered at PATH Crisis as a crisis line operator.
In 2021, Alexa was led to marry her husband Cody and move to Morton, IL. Then in 2023, Alexa was hired as an administrative assistant at ACCFS where she can continue working to help people. She and her husband reside in Morton, Illinois and are active members at Morton Apostolic Christian Church.
