Matt Kaufmann

Church Outreach Teacher

After completing his bachelor’s degree in mathematics education at Illinois State University, Matt spent nearly 15 years in mathematics education. His profession led him to urban, rural, private, and public schools K-12. Most of his years were spent employed by Bloomington High School. Matt was called into the pulpit ministry in Bloomington in 2005.

Feeling called to disciple, Matt has a love for the church. He feels the Lord’s pleasure most when he contends for the unity of the faith, and the knowledge of the Son of God through teaching. He felt God’s leading to serve the brotherhood more fully through the services at ACCFS which he joined 2015 as Church Outreach Teacher. In this role, Matt provides teaching services to Apostolic Christian congregations, including training, seminars, presentations, Bible studies, and other resources.

Matt and his wife Rebekah live in rural Carlock, IL, with their six children, Joshua, Darci, Aria, Garrison, Hans and Wren. They are members of the Apostolic Christian Church of Bloomington, IL where Matt serves as a minister.
