Helping Others Be Disciples Course
Welcome to ‘Helping Others Be Disciples’ – an enriching, online course designed to empower you to engage in deeper discipleship within your local community, whether it be your family, small group, or church. We pray this resource can be helpful to you.
Discipleship is a way of life that transcends individual growth and reaches into entire communities transforming them into beacons of light, giving sight to a darkened world. In this course, our aim is to guide you through three fundamental pillars that will help you and your community foster a culture of discipleship wherever you are.
First, we'll explore the mindset for being a community that makes disciples. It's not just about acquiring truth - it's about embodying the mindset of a trainee who is consistently learning and applying practical skills that help them grow in their love for Christ and others. We'll explore the core principles that will not only foster this mindset but also create a foundation for impactful discipleship.
Next, you will be equipped with a tangible skillset for discipling others after the teachings of Christ. From helping others develop a vision for personal transformation to applying specific spiritual disciplines, we'll cover practical skills that will help you to guide and support others on their discipleship journeys.
Finally, you will be invited to imagine what it might look like to share discipleship practices together as believing communities. We'll explore the beauty of communal growth, fostering a sense of unity in communally shared rhythms of life.
If you want to make a lasting impact in your local community, join us in this course ‘Helping Others Be Disciples.' And together, we will begin to cultivate a culture of discipleship that extends far beyond ourselves. You can enroll at the link provided below.
