Shield Of Faith
Discipling our families can take many forms — Bible reading, prayer, or service. Intentional bonding time is also important in creating cohesion of who your family is and conversely, who they are not. The “Shield of Faith” activity is designed to help families create a visual representation of what is important to them as well as identify strengths each family member possesses. This can be a great family project or an activity for parents who desire to purposefully think about and direct their family toward what they want their family name and mission to represent. Click on the link to find instructions for completing your family “Shield of Faith” along with examples of completed shields. NOTE: This resource isn’t meant to be exhaustive or done all at one time but is meant to provide ideas for parents to help nurture, steward and equip your family in your God-given discipleship role.
